Reach Out Speak Out is a faith-based organization and with that comes the faith of a God that knows us inside and out. The good and the bad. Our God does want what is best for us. When we listen to God and do not try to do things as we want it ourlives will be a gift. A gift from God. God may or may not bring that person that we hoped for. Maybe we are designed for something much better than our wishes. Maybe as children wait for Christmas morning to receive something special, that we as adultsneed to wait for Christmas morning.
We all know that when we try to rush the process of anything, it does not come out complete and there are complications that come with rushing it. Think about the Christmas cookies that are not baked fully. Think about the special holiday meals thatare not completely cooked. You wouldn’t want to eat raw or unfinished food. Why is it that when we are cultivating a relationship that we are so anxious to dig in and make promises and commitments that are half-baked?
God has a plan for you. A special perfect plan. It is worth waiting for that relationship.
Christmas morning will be so much happier and no fighting and hurt words if we are willing to put the time, effort and wait on God.
