Items to take when you leave:
- Identification for your children and yourself
- Birth certificates, social security cards, passports
- Money (cash), check book, account information, credit cards
- Keys (house, office, car, safety deposit box, etc.)
- Driver’s license and vehicle registration
- Medications and prescriptions, medical records
- Phone numbers of doctors and other important professionals
- Lease/rental agreement, mortgage information
- All legal papers-School and vaccination records
- Insurance information for home, car, health, etc.
- Address book (if on your computer, you will want to print a hard copy)
- Photos that are important to you and a few special treasures
- A shelter for your pets or to make sure you can bring your four legged family with you
