They hada bad day. You questioned if you did or said anything to cause this to happen. Then you got soaccustomed to the abusers actions that you became silent and ashamed that this was happening inyour home. It is time to leave this hurricane in your life.

  • Keep some of your child’s favorite non
  • perishable foods and snacks
  • Have a non electric can opener
  • Water is very important. Save your containers and get the water from your tap. No need to spend $if you plan ahead. One gallon of water per person per day
  • Make sure that you know the warning signs of a storm/hurricane/tornado
  • If you are in danger call 911
  • Make sure that you have a full tank of gas. You do not know how far you will need to travel
  • If it is important to your child, remember to take it.

Begin this week by starting to get everything together. Don’t wait.
